The Papillons de Nuit Festival, a cornerstone of Normandy’s cultural calendar, is back with a bang for its 2026 edition. Set to take place in Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves from May 22–24, 2026, the festival has unveiled a lineup that blends global superstars, genre-defining acts, and emerging talents across three vibrant days of music.
This year’s announcement brings together a diverse array of artists, ensuring there’s something for every music lover. Headlining the festival is Jamaican dancehall legend Sean Paul, whose timeless hits like Temperature and Get Busy are guaranteed to ignite the stage on Sunday, May 24. As one of the most important figures in global dancehall, Sean Paul’s performance marks his first appearance at a Norman festival—a historic moment for fans.
Joining him is Belgian techno powerhouse Amélie Lens, set to deliver an electrifying set on Saturday, May 23. Known for her high-energy mixes and pulsating beats, Lens represents the cutting edge of electronic music and will undoubtedly captivate the crowd with her dynamic presence.
French Talent Shines Bright
French pop sensation M. Pokora returns to the festival after two missed opportunities due to cancellations in previous years. Scheduled for Sunday evening, the multi-platinum artist will showcase tracks from his latest album, Adrénaline, promising a spectacular show filled with dazzling choreography and chart-topping hits.
Rising star Héléna Bailly, fresh off her success at the NRJ Music Awards, will also grace the stage on Sunday. Her debut album Hélé earned gold status within months of release, and her emotionally charged ballads and upbeat pop anthems have cemented her as one of France’s brightest new voices.
Rap Meets Techno: A Bold Experiment
Friday night heats up with a groundbreaking collaboration between rapper Vald, masked DJ Vladimir Cauchemar, and producer Todiefor. Together, they’ll fuse rap and techno into a unique live experience, showcasing their reimagined tracks from Vald’s Pandémonium album. This trio promises to push boundaries and redefine what a festival performance can be.
Also on Friday, breakout rap sensation PLK takes the stage. With millions of streams and sold-out shows under his belt, PLK continues to dominate the French rap scene. His inclusion underscores the festival’s commitment to featuring both established and emerging artists.
Pop, Rap, and Beyond
Saturday’s lineup features rapper La Mano 1.9, recently crowned “Revelation Artist” at the Flammes Awards, alongside Amélie Lens. Meanwhile, Friday welcomes indie-pop favorite Suzane, returning after her memorable performance in 2022, and Rennes-born pop revelation Luiza, whose hit Soleil Bleu was the soundtrack of summer 2025.
